Treble crochet (tr)

How to work it
- Yarn over TWICE, insert the hook.
- Yarn over, pull up a loop (four loops on the hook).
- Yarn over and draw through two loops, three times.
A tall, open stitch. Each extra yarn-over before inserting makes the next taller stitch: double treble (dtr) starts with three yarn-overs.
Other names for the same stitch
- Modern US: treble or triple (tr, trc).
- UK: double treble (dtr).
- Antique US: "Tr. C.", and in some 1900s books just "t."
